Question 1 : If I have any questions before joining the forums who should I talk to?

Question 2 : Do I need to have been active for a certain length of time before I can play an HPSurvivor or HP Quidditch game?

No, new members are welcomed to join in, most sign up's are based on first post first serve. However, if you go inactive, without notice, in games in the past - it will effect whether we allow you to play in the future.

Question 3 : After signing up where should I go to introduce myself?

There is a thread in Random Ramblings at the very top called Introduction Thread!

Question 4 : I also run an invisionfree site and would like to have some of the codes on this forum, could you help me out?

We will be glad to show you where to get the codes to put onto your site as long as you sign up for an account here & leave a small link to our site in your forum.

Question 5 : Since HPSurvivor and Grimmauld Place are partnered up, does that mean the same person runs both sites?

No, Grimmauld Place and HPSurvivor work together for mutually beneficial purposes. Grimmauld Place is managed by tinferno, while HPSurvivor is mostly maintained by David and Greeney.

Question 6 : Will you affiliate with my site?

We only affiliate with Harry Potter related websites that we trust, have similar forum rules as we do, and have over 50 members. There may be exceptions under certain circumstances, you're welcome to discuss with one of the administrators about it over MSN instant messenger.

Question 7 : I noticed certain people have awards in their profiles, how would I be able to get one?

You would have to earn them during a game of HPSurvivor! The Merlin Memorial award goes to the final winner of the game. The Godric Goblet award goes to the player who others voted to be the most noble and risktaking. Helga's Heart gets voted on based on the player who was most loyal and/or lucky. Rowena's Runestone is discussed to decide who was the best at challenges. Finally, Salazar's Scepter is determined by the Game Moderator as who s/he felt was the most deceptive.
